Mexican Chocolate Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ⅛ tsp chipotle powder, more if extra spice desired
  • ⅛ tsp Montana Mex Sweet Seasoning

           

Method

  1. Place drained and rinsed black beans in a food processor and blend.
  2. While blending, add cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, chipotle powder and MM sweet seasoning.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Cool for 1 hour.
  5. Enjoy! Serve with sliced fruit, pretzels, cookies.
